Preventing crime and violence

To ensure the prevention of crime and violence, it is necessary to identify and act on the risk factors that increase the possibility of people committing or suffering violent acts. These include conditions of vulnerability, sale and consumption of alcohol and other drugs.

CCAS seeks to offer:

(i) design of prevention actions based on improving urban space;
(ii) design of violence prevention programs focusing on children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability;
(iii) evaluation of violence prevention strategies.
