The effectiveness of the Public Security and Criminal Justice System affects the probability and severity with which an offender can be identified and penalized.
CCAS seeks to offer:
(i) support for the development and use of technologies to support criminal analysis, police allocation, crime investigation and supervision of police work;
(ii) creation of results-based management systems based on objective performance indicators of operational units;
(iii) support in the design of new methods of internal and external control of police activity;
(iv) preparation of municipal and state public security plans.
